Smaller wine Estates have a lot going for them. Typically they are found on unique terroir, in new wine regions. Also, they are making handcrafted, limited release wines with a lot of care and attention. The result is incredibly high quality wines showing off their origin and the care in the cellar. The downside for small Estates is they don?t have a big brand name, which is a positive for you and I, because quite often the are incredibly good value! This tasting explores, and pays tribute to, the small Estates out there making some of South Africa?s top wines.
